Made of synthetic materials

I received my tulips (red). They are beautiful, but was a little perplexed on what they were made of, so I called customer service and she stated that they were made of synthetic materials, but the description states silk...i would say a little misleading. The leaves feel like foam and the flowers some type of plastic. Again....they are beautiful and not sure at this time if I will be returning.
